We Beacon of Hope:
We seek to accomplish our vision by meeting short term needs of individuals and families through acts of kindness, love and divine appointments. This is done through multiple outreach ministries that provide clothes, food, water, connection to resources and other acts of love. In so doing we desire to share with individuals in our inner-city community that there is hope in God, that they are made in the image of God and therefore of intrinsic value. We use the open doors afforded by such acts for the opportunity of the gospel message. Our ultimate goal is to meet the spiritual need of knowing God through Jesus Christ. It is that relationship, when encouraged and nurtured that changes individuals and positively impacts communities both spiritually and physically. We Rebuild Lives: We seek to empower others to overcome obstacles, reach their full potential and develop into spiritually mature and thriving sons and daughters of God. We do this through church ministries that focus on growth, discipleship, biblical truth and spiritual development. We develop programs that are designed to empower and connect individuals with internal and external resources to meet their long term needs. This may be through workshops, counseling, mentoring, and social work. We Restore Dreams: We seek to empower the sons and daughters of God to dream and find their purpose, cause and calling in Christ. This may be in Family, Government, Education, Arts, Sciences, Media, Sports, Church or Church Leadership. Whatever it is, it’s worthy of pursuit, unique to the giftings of God in an individual, and for others and His glory. We seek to develop opportunities to use these unique giftings to meet needs and impact the inner city with the gospel. |
