Position Summary:
This opportunity is set up uniquely to inspire, empower, and equip pastoral interns in specific ministries duties aligned to their gifting. Interns will serve in various capacity as agreed upon with the Lead Pastor and identified below. Interns will be required, and receive guidance, in pursuing ministry credentials with the Assemblies of God through bible college courses online or in person. Interns must have a passion for ministry, a heart for God, and heart for others. This position is an unpaid internship of about 4-6 hours per week (including Sundays & weekly responsibilities).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve on Leadership Team overseeing church leadership and ministry.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Pastor to coordinate services, ensuring smooth flow, and coordination of volunteers.
- Coordinate with ministry teams to ensure volunteers are resourced and in place.
- Preach and teach in services, small groups, or bible studies when scheduled.
- Manage or coordinate specific departments as assigned, aligned, and agreed upon (e.g., youth, small groups, outreach, welcome, and hospitality).
- Serve and coordinate volunteers in ministry and outreach events.
- Attend and contribute to weekly Leadership Team meetings.
- Attend regular one on one meetings with the Lead Pastor.
- Aid, present, or lead key church events (e.g. membership classes, meet the pastors, or outreaches).
- Be available for pastoral duties as delegated (hospital visits, prayer calls, community presence).
- Support the overall vision and mission of the church, ensuring alignment in areas served.

- Consistent weekly church attendance.
Time Commitments:
Approx. 4-6 hours per week
- 3 hours for Sunday Services including pre and post service events.
- 2 hours during the week for Leadership meetings and communication.
- 1 hour of licensing coursework per week for internship.
Internship Requirements:
- Commitment to work toward Ministry Licensing which includes through bible college courses in person or online (e.g. Epic Bible College , SUM Bible College, Global University, Pathway).
- Commitment to Probationary Period of 1 year with a three and six-month check-in.
- Commitment to discipleship from Lead Pastor and biweekly/monthly pastoral training.
