Stipend
Monthly stipend $500.
Position Summary:
The Assimilation & Engagement Coordinator at Dream Center Church of Sacramento plays a key role in strengthening connection, care, and coordination across the church. This position focuses on overseeing the church’s assimilation process, supporting engagement through key calendar initiatives, and providing administrative assistance to pastoral leadership. Serving on the Leadership Team, this role works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to ensure visitors are welcomed, leaders are aligned, and systems function smoothly.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assimilation & Church Management Systems Oversight (60%)
Church Calendar Coordination (25%)
Additional Administrative Assistance (15%)
- Own and execute the church’s assimilation strategy by managing visitor reception,
- Oversee follow-up processes
- Track data within the Church Management System.
- Ensure consistent, timely communication between leadership, volunteers, and visitor.
- Help foster a culture of connection that guides people from first-time guest to active participation
Church Calendar Coordination (25%)
- Assist in managing the church calendar.
- Coordinate events with a specific focus on assimilation-related touch-points including (but not limited to) Vision Sundays, Coffee with the Pastor, New Member Classes, and other connection-focused events.
- Oversee key engagement moments at events ensuring, including (but not limited to)
- Vision Sundays, Coffee with the Pastor, New Member Classes, and other connection-focused events
Additional Administrative Assistance (15%)
- Provide administrative support to the Lead Pastor and leadership team
- Scheduling meetings, posting social media content, and handling other administrative tasks as assigned to support overall church operations

Time Commitments:
Approx. 6 - 8 hours per week
- 3 hours for Sunday Services including pre and post service events.
- 3-5 hours during the week for scheduling, communication, and administration.
Potential Schedule:
Sundays
- 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- 1 Hour a week
- 2- 3 Hours a week.
